BOOKING INFORMATION
HALL CHARGES
There are three types of charges for booking any of the three halls within the Community Hall, these are as follows:
Community Lets: These are any bookings from any groups within the community such as Guides, Cross Stitch, Youth Club etc.

Private Lets: Private lets are classed as anyone from the community who wish to book the hall for their own private use  such as Weddings, Dances, parties etc. Please note: +  that to book the use of the kitchen and or bar for a private let there will be an additional £20 for each.

Commercial Lets: These are for lets for commercial use such as outside bookings.

All lets will be charged from when you arrive to prepare for your event
until the last person leaves.
HALL CAPACITY:
The Large Main Hall : licensed to hold a maximum capacity of 150 people
The Small Hall: licensed to hold a maximum capacity of 60 people
The Upstairs Meeting Hall licensed to hold a maximum capacity of 40 people

CATERING: If you are using the Hall facilities for your catering please make sure that you consult the posters on food safety and the Cook Safe file in the Hall Kitchen. Any catering and food preparation is the responsibility of the hirer/s.

After you leave please remember:   take home all your possessions, put all rubbish in bin bags, Bottles and cans must be put in the recycle bins provided, and clean the kitchen, the cooker and bar area if used.

SMOKING POLICY: Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the hall.

FIRE PROCEDURES: For functions where the attendance of the Hall Keeper is not required, organisations or persons hiring the hall should nominate a responsible person/s (1 for every 50 people) and inform the hall keeper of the details. The nominated fireperson/s must ensure their group follows fire procedure notices which will be pointed out by the hall keeper.

FIRST AID KIT / ACCIDENT BOOK:  are kept in a drawer in the Kitchen, We recommend that the hall hirer/s should carry out an assessment of possible risks to health and safety to anyone in the course of their planned activity. Check that you understand the Insurance cover provided by the Hall.
