Hannah Crowe has been voted Gala Queen for this year.
Some highlights for the week:
The theme is "Super Heroes and Villians", so look out for amazing costumes and window displays around the village.
Saturday from 12.00 pm - Gala Day, with highland dancing (from 12.00 pm), grand parade through East Linton (1.15 pm), crowning of the Gala Queen (2.00 pm), stalls & attractions, East Lothian Pipe Band (2.15 pm), local youth bands (2.30 - 4.00 pm), Law Race (3.00 pm), Presentation of Trophies (4.00 pm) etc, etc
Sunday - Kirkin' of the Queen at Prestonkirk (11.00 am) and the return of a fun race day down the High Street (2.00 - 4.00 pm)

Monday - Junior Quiz Night in the Community Hall (from 6.00 pm)
Tuesday - Junior Football Competition in the park (from 6.15 pm), High School Pool Competition - Crown Hotel (8.00 pm)
Wednesday - Junior Art Competition in the Community Hall (6.00 pm), Adult Quiz Competition in the Bowling Club (8.00 pm)
Thursday - Netball - School playground (3.45 pm), Film Night - 'The Incredibles' in association with Pix in the Stix - Community Hall (doors open 5.30 pm) - £3 entry (£2 if in fancy dress), Jumble Pairs Bowling Competition (6.30 pm) - names to the Bowling Club
