Our next fund raising event is a family Burns Supper to be held on Saturday 22nd January (6.30 for 7 pm) in the community hall. Tickets are now on sale at the Post Office and Andersons the Butchers, priced at £5 per adult and £2.50 for children. Make sure you get your tickets soon!

Every Year the East Linton Gala takes place. Floats parade from Phantassie, through the village and up to the park. Along with the floats, a pipe band, the village fire engine, old cars and tractors and strangely dressed up locals all join in. At the park the Gala Queen, who has been on her throne on the first float with her attendants, is crowned. Then there is music, dancing, the Law Race (up Traprain Law and back) and numerous stalls, along with food and drink. It's a great event and veryone in the area looks forward to it.
